2007 is going to be a year of Jubilee and setting the captive free. Have you been going through a series of tests and challenges over the last seven years? Well, if that has been your situation - you can start rejoicing. 2007 is going to be a year of open heaven.

It will be a time of suddenlies when you will see God suddenly move upon your finances, families and ministries. Joseph had been sold into slavery by his own brothers. Can you imagine what that must have felt like to have your own family sell you out?

A spirit of rejection and isolation must have tried to overtake him. But he praised God in the midst of the circumstances and eventually he saw the breakthrough. It was a suddenly time for Joseph. After all the trials and tears….it was finally God’s time for breakthrough in his life. One day when he least expected he was informed that he was being called up to the palace. Suddenly….just like that. Joseph went from the prison to the palace!

Are you in a place where you feel like you have been imprisoned? If so, your release is soon at hand. But this is a season where we have to believe what God has spoken to us through His word and prophets. The enemy will try to steal your faith. A spirit of unbelief may have tried to overwhelm you and say, “Where is your God” or “Did God really tell you that?” This is a time to Dare to Declare what God has spoken to you.

Agree to decree that this is your time for breakthrough and don’t back down. The Lord spoke to me at the beginning of the year and he said, “Meri, what would you do if you knew that you could not fail?” When I heard the Lord speak that to me I suddenly realized that God was going to make me the head and not the tail. If you can see it you can be it. Don’t lose sight of your dreams. They will determine your destiny.

Forty years the children of Israel wandered around in the wilderness because of a spirit of unbelief. God waited until all the men of military age at the time they left Egypt (except Joshua and Caleb) to die in the wilderness. Finally it was the time to cross over the Jordan River and into the promised land. After all of those years of wandering now it was finally their destiny to take the land. But God did not just give it to them. They had to possess it. God is not just going to drop things into your lap. You are going to have to seek and find it. He wants to give you the desires of your heart. But you will need the corresponding actions associated with success to achieve the final outcome.

The year 1967 was a year of great change. The Jesus movement began in 1967 in southern California when a young hippie was on Tahquitz Canyon mountain near Palm Springs and cried out “God – if you’re real – reveal yourself to me”. When he shouted that out all at once the canyon started to change. He had a vision and the Lord called him to preach the gospel to the lost. From that divine encounter on that mountain God started a movement. Lonnie was the catylist for the Jesus movement. Through a series of divine coincidences God lead him to a small fledgling church called Calvary Chapel whose pastor was named Chuck Smith. After teaching a small bible study on Wednesday night it exploded into a movement where hundreds of young people started coming to the church. The Jesus movement started in southern California and made its way across the nation. Thousands of young people who were into rebellion, drugs and eastern mysticism ended up accepting the Lord.

Well, it is forty years since the last Jesus movement started. God is wanting to bring another wave or revival to this nation. It has been forty years and now is the time for this to begin. Another interesting thing about 1967 was that Israel reclaimed Jerusalem. You can look at God’s prophetic timetable by watching what is going on in Israel.

Israel has been under attack for the last several years. But God is going to raise up a standard against the devil and Israel is going to be saved. They will accept Jesus as their Messiah.

2007 will be a year of new beginnings and old mantles to be given to those who have been obedient. The faithful will be fruitful and multiply. This is a season of multiplication not subtraction. “What would you do if you knew you could not fail?”

God is asking that question to you right now. This is a season of abundance but also where God is examining our hearts. Get yourself right with the Lord and move into the areas He has called you to. The days of suddenlies are her. Suddenly your children will be saved, suddenly your finances will be restored, suddenly your health will be renewed.

2007 is a year of Open Heaven! Believe God! This is your year of Jubilee.
